We did it!!

We are thrilled to announce that we have won the Service Award at the Leicester Mercury Business Awards last week 

The judges were looking for evidence of service excellence and a company that has the customer at the centre of everything that they do.

We are delighted to win this award and would like to thank all of our brilliant staff and our supportive customers for choosing Bistro Live time and time again! 

Spring is on it's way....!

Well, we've had a brief sign that Spring is on its way, and here at Bistro Live we are fully geared up for the months ahead - the delicious summer menu has been fully tested (mostly by the office staff- yum yum) and bookings for hen parties and summer birthday parties are coming in fast!

 Last weekend was one of the busiest so far this year with lots of regular customers and new alike enjoying some fantastic entertainment and service from our amazing staff.

 Susan came a while back for her hen party and had such a great time that she booked a night last weekend for her 1st wedding anniversary and bought all her hens and partners along!!

So if you have an occasion to celebrate coming up soon, let us know, and even if you don't, let us know anyway- who needs a reason to have a great night out!!

Fingers crossed for Bistro Live!

It is a very exciting week in the Bistro Live office this week as it has just been announced that we are finalists in the customer service category of the Leicester Mercury 2014 business awards!!

After winning the best customer service award in Birmingham last year and the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, we really think we're in with a chance and obviously some of you do as well!

"This was our first time at Bistro Live in Nottingham. From the time we arrived to the end of the night when we left we had a fabulous time! The staff are really friendly, efficient and helpful. The band were great and, given that there were 40 years between the youngest and oldest in our party, did the wonderful job of keeping every single one of us up dancing all night!"

So a big thank you to all our lovely customers - we couldn't do any of it without you and remember to keep your fingers crossed for us on April 3rd :)

Bistro Live goes back to school!

What a cracking 2014 so far!!

 

We can't believe it's February already & the first weekend of our new menu was very well received! Come & try it out if you haven't already, it's gorgeous! All of our staff are gearing up for the busy months ahead, if you are looking to make plans for another night out soon don't delay!

 

I'd like to remind you all that our School Dinner & Disco nights are back in April! They're fantastic, involving nights with Lionel Vinyl & Randy Moover! If you've been to Bistro Live before & not experienced one of our School nights, don't miss out this year; it has to be done!

 

Alternatively we are running some other great offers in March, but time is running out for these dates now.

Amazing Feedback!

It's pretty amazing you know!

 

Having just had the best Christmas EVER in Bistro Live history, you would think that January would be a bit of a damp squib with people recovering from the expense of the festive season and being all partied out!! But, you couldn't be more wrong. We are experiencing one of the best and busiest January's EVER, with February and March looking to following suit.  Just look at a couple of the fantastic comments we have received from people attending this month:

 

" Meal was fab staff were great cdnt help you enough and our night was one to remember"

 

 "It was a fantastic night.  We all had fun and the food was delicious"

 

Our customers are booking to celebrate all sorts of occasions, or, for nothing at all - just love coming here for a fantastic night out. For brides getting married this year, their hen night is uppermost in their minds, and enquiries and bookings are coming in in droves Yay!!

Bistro Live new website

The Bistro Live website is currently undergoing a total overhaul!

We have been developing a brand new shiny website over the last few weeks with our design agency. There are going to be a couple of new functions such as meet the team, you will be able to find more about the ‘Party Planners’ and put a name to a face.

The last finishing touches are currently being completed! Watch this space for our next post about the website launch, we can’t wait!!!

Bistro Live, we cater for ages 18-80!

This was definitely the case on Saturday 10th March at our Nottingham restaurant when we were privileged to be the chosen venue for the Golden Wedding anniversary of Beryl and Eric Whiting.

Their party of 21 people spanned all of the different generations…pictured are Eric and Beryl on the dance floor with grandson Ross, aged 19.

By the way, Beryl is 72 and her husband Eric is almost 80…so when we say in our literature that we appeal to everyone from age 18 to 80…

we really do!

And boy, do they still know how to party…my lasting memory of the night was Eric and Beryl on the dance floor right to the very end…what a great example of living life to the full….

Bistro Live Spring Menu

The new menu has been receiving some great feedback, it will be running till 28th April. We have the usual Bistro Live fun and flair mixed with a contemporary twist, there is sure to be something on the menu for everyone…

There are a few customer favorites on the menu, these are coupled with a few new additions. Such as the crispy sesame chicken with rainbow salad and sweet chili sauce or the luxurious smoked mackerel and horseradish fishcake…

For your main event you can have the knock out spicy Cajun chicken with tomato and green bean salsa or perhaps you could try the succulent pork tender loin with black pudding Colcannon mash and a side of cream sauce or from the vegetarian section there is our homemade spinach and ricotta cannelloni.

We have decided to keep our desserts classic and familiar with crowd favorites such as our decadent chocolate profiteroles, soft and moist sticky toffee pudding and of course lemon cheesecake.

School Dinners are officially back for 2012!

School Dinner & Disco Nights with Lionel Vinyl, have been missed by Bistro Live fans, so we have decided to bring them back in June & July!

Lionel Vinyl will take you back with a night of nostalgia playing hits from your childhood years. The night includes a traditional 2 course ‘school dinner’, prepared by our team of chefs.

Exciting New Live Bands & Entertainment for 2011 at Bistro L!VE!

Bistro L!VE has always prided itself on booking only the best live party and cover bands - you won't see these bands peforming at your local pub!

After our annual live band showcase held at our Bistro L!VE Leicester venue, 3 bands really stood out and you'll be able to catch them at all three restaurants in Leicester, Nottingham & Milton Keynes from March 2011 onwards...

Quantum

Quantum are an excellent Grantham based 4-piece female fronted party band covering anything from 60s motown through to 70's disco, 80s electro and we were also treated to a brilliant version of 'The Power' by Snap! They really do cater for all tastes - make sure you check them out...



The A Listers



The A Listers first appeared at Bistro L!VE Leicester in November 2010; they were so well received we've decided to book them for our Nottingham & Milton Keynes venues aswell. One of London's best party bands, The A Listers perform anything from 60s pop through to Modern Day anthems & party classics...





Chris Poole and The Shades

...and finally a band we have had our eye for a while now and having seen them at our showcase they are sure to be a real hit in 2011... Chris Poole and The Shades are a Birmingham based 6-piece fully live party band featuring brilliant Male & Female Lead Vocals. 'The Shades' regularly perform at top venues throughout the UK aswell as regular visits to Dubai!
